Skill Library: console and API
Store reusable agent instructions as inert text. Keep revisions and retrieve a pinned version. Free beta; no paid plan.
Use the console
Create an account, activate Skill Library under Services, then open Skill Library. Create a lowercase hyphenated name, Markdown instructions and a change note. Every save preserves a new revision. Select View / restore to inspect an old revision, then save it with a new change note to restore it.
Free beta limits
10 skills per organization; 20 versions per skill; 16,000 characters per version; 100 successful unique saves per monthly billing period. Reads do not consume the save quota. Limits are hard caps, with no automatic paid upgrade. Do not store credentials. Documents are not executed by Clouddory.
Authentication and listing
Use an organization API key from Console → API keys. Send Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY. GET https://clouddory.com/api/platform/services/skill-library lists your skills. API keys can be revoked in the console.
Create or save a revision
POST to the same endpoint with Content-Type: application/json and a unique Idempotency-Key (8–128 letters, digits, underscore, period, colon or hyphen). expected_version is 0 to create; for an update supply the current_version you read. Concurrent changes return 409; reload before trying again. Retrying the same body and key returns the original result without another save charge.
{"name":"release-review","content":"Check QA and rollback evidence.","change_note":"Initial revision","expected_version":0}Read and pin a version
GET /api/platform/services/skill-library/release-review returns current content plus revision history. Add ?version=1 to retrieve a stable historical revision. Versions range from 1 to 20; a nonexistent skill/revision returns 404. The console’s Copy instructions button copies the selected text.
Errors and data handling
401 means missing/revoked credentials; 403 means service not activated; 409 means version or idempotency conflict; 422 means invalid input; 429 means a quota is reached. Content stays scoped to your organization and is returned as text. This beta does not execute skills, synchronize them into your local agent, or provide customer-controlled deletion yet.
